We are pleased to announce the new exhibition ‘Unpublished Photo 2023’ at MUSEC in collaboration with 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS gallery, 24 large-format photographic prints by 4 winning photographers of Unpublished Photo, the yearly open call launched in 2018 by 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS gallery and addressed to all exceptionally talented photographers from all over the world.

The exhibition, housed in the renowned Spazio Maraini at Villa Malpensata in Lugano, presents four young talents selected by the international jury of the UP23prize, chaired by the Italian photographer Roberto Polillo and including Eugenio Calini, Francesco Paolo Campione, Vittoria Fragapane, Paolo Gerini, Giovanna Palandri, and Tiziana Serena. They chose, in this order: Andrey Podlednev (Russia), Madeleine Brunnmeier (Germany), Aleksandr Lialiushkin (Russia), and W.VV.VV (Singapore). The special Artphilein Editions Prize, which consists of the publication of a bilingual art monograph in English and German, was awarded to Madeleine Brunnmeier.

The exhibition is completed with a bilingual Italian-English catalogue with all ten photographs by each of the four winners (FCM Editions)
