About

29 ARTS IN PROGRESS is a leading art photography gallery originally established in the historic Sant’Ambrogio area of Milan. The gallery has long been recognized for representing the work of internationally renowned photographers, with a focus on portraiture and fashion photography.
After more than a decade of success in Milan, we are now embarking on an exciting new chapter. In 2025, 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS will relocate to the rapidly evolving Forlanini district, at Via Marco Bruto 24 (near Piazza Ovidio, Milan). This new space will serve as a dynamic and versatile hub for exhibitions, open to the public by appointment, while allowing us to expand our presence through nomadic and pop-up exhibitions in innovative locations across Italy and abroad.

Since its inception, the gallery has curated exhibitions in collaboration with public and private museums including the V&A Museum, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow, Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art in Saint Petersburg, Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Pirelli and Triennale in Milan, the Museum of Cultures in Lugano, and the Nicola Erni Collection in Steinhausen, Switzerland. Moving forward, we will continue collaborating with our artists to develop institutional museum exhibitions, further consolidating our distinctive role in the cultural landscape.

Guided by co-founders and directors Eugenio Calini and Luca Casulli, 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS remains dedicated to the highest standards of art photography collection. Our mission continues to be one of passion, experimentation, and accessibility, and we are committed to growing our community and engaging a more diverse audience of collectors and art enthusiasts, becoming an even more prominent reference point in the world of photographic art.
As we embrace emerging technologies and the ever-changing landscape of the art world, we do so while staying true to our essence.
