We are thrilled that the Lucie Foundation and its Advisory Board have selected Gian Paolo Barbieri as the 2018 recipient of the distinguished Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion.
Gian Paolo Barbieri exceptional contribution in fashion photography will be a welcomed addition to an illustrious list that has included Dominique Issermann, Roxanne Lowit, Victor Skrebneski, Patrick Demarchelier, Deborah Tuberville, David Bailey, Peter Lindbergh, Lilian Brassman, and Melvin Sokolsky.

The prestigious Lucie Awards gala returns to New York City to celebrate, for the sixteenth year, the best photographic results of the year in the industry by presenting seven awards for the support category.
The Red Carpet Gala ceremony will be held at New York’s renowned Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, on Sunday, October 28, 2018.

Each year, 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS gallery will hold the open call “UNPUBLISHED PHOTO”, a search for exceptionally talented photographers, from Italy and all across the world.
The 1st edition of UNPUPLISHED PHOTO is currently open for submissions and runs until 15 May 2018.
Selected photographers will gain the opportunity to participate in a group exhibition at the gallery in Milan (6 -29 September 2018).
A  specially constituted Selection Committee, in collaboration with the direction of the gallery, will evaluate proposals and within 30 June 2018, the five selected photographers will be announced.

An appointment on the occasion of the photographic exhibition “A POEM” by Lelli e Masotti.

Giovanni Pelloso, curator of the exhibition, Carlo Serra, philosopher of music, Silvia Lelli and Roberto Masotti will converse together on formal themes related to photography, sound, music, performance space that inspired the exhibition.
Interesting aspect of the meeting is that some videos of the authors will be shown, realized in the last years, that develop another kind of look and “multimedia” construction.
